Hiding In Plain Site
You think that you can’t see me,
but I’m hiding in plain site.
In the laughing of a child,
or a moonless, starry night.
You think that you can’t hear me,
but I whisper in your ear.
very steady, ever calming,
always guiding you from fear.
You’re sure that you can’t feel me,
when you’re searching for a crutch.
But I’m in the arms of babies,
or a lovers tender touch.
It’s such a shame to miss me,
when I’m standing at your side.
Always present, ever-loving,
for it’s in plain site I hide.
